Using the plan of the t ypical three bedroom house, the following part-set arrangements are

required by the occupants of the house:

Full Set - All circuits to be armed.

Part-set Group A - Circuits 9 and 10 to be omitted. This is required for no rmal night setting

when everyone is in the house and have re tired t o bed.

Part-set Group B - Circuit 10 to be omitted. This isrequired when the occupant ofbedroom 2

is away for the weekend.

Part-set Group C - Circuits2, 7,8,9 and10to beomitted.Thisis requiredwhen onlyperimeter

protection is r equi red.

Programming proc edure

1. First crea te a table listing the circuits that are required to be Armed (A ) and Omitted (O) for

each part-set group:

The PIR in the hallway (circuit 02) will need the "Access" attribute so that first person that

comes down the stairs will start the entry timer.

Com mercial Part-Set Application Example

This application example demonstrates how to use the "Part- set Codes" to set and unset different

areas w ithin a commercial premises. Using the plan of the buildin g the fo llowing is re quired:

Part-set code A - Thesales manager willbeassigned this passcode toaccessthe sales and

canteen area.

Part-set code B - The workshop manager will be a ssigned this passcode to acces s th e

workshop and canteen area.

Part-set code C - The stores manager will be assigned this passcode to access the stores

and canteen area.
